The delegation of China, US and Europe Young Elite Program and South Korea Youth visited BCU respectively
On September 11th and 12th, over ten people of the second China, US and Europe Young Elite Program’s delegation and a hundred of the South Korea Youth delegation visited the Shunyi campus of BCU respectively. The secretary general of Chinese Association for International Understanding (CAFIU) Mr. Ni Jian, and officers of Communist Youth League Central Committee attended the activity.
The two delegations visited the training buildings of Numerical Control Technology and Automotive Engineering in Shunyi campus, and appreciated and enjoyed a series of traditional Chinese cultural performance as follows: national first-level actor Qi Lin, a student majoring in Finance from the school of International studies, performed the Peking Opera ‘Drunken Beauty’; Miss Sun Hongxia, a teacher from the P.E. department, performed Martial arts; Mr. Hu Bin, head of Calligraphy institute and president of Beijing Calligraphy School, and the students of calligraphy major created live performance of calligraphy works; Professor Wei Huijun from school of Arts demonstrated the Chinese painting art; Craft Art Department teacher Ni Qiaofeng and Li Peng exhibited their paper cutting and accessories products as well as demonstrated interactively; the master craftsman of intangible cultural heritage showed various dough figurine. Moreover, the Korea Youth delegation held the Round Table Forum with the representatives of BCU teachers and students and discussed the topic of Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
During the time of being interviewed by media, foreign guests highly admired the personnel training system of BCU to link up secondary technical vocation, higher technical vocation, undergraduate, and postgraduate education as well as the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional culture.
