On December 25, New Year Party was held for foreign teachers working in BCU. President Assistant Ms Ye Yingfang, Deputy Head of International Office Ms Li Xuemeng, teachers from the School of Foreign Studies and student assistants attended the enjoyable party.
The Christmas decoration, buffet and dessert created a warm and fantastic atmosphere. The most exciting and interesting part is teachers and student assistants learned to make Chinese knot. Foreign teachers experienced Chinese culture through the learning process. They are so proud of successfully making the knots and took pictures with their outcomes for memory. At the end of the party, they hung the Chinese Knots in the Christmas tree, which added sweetness to the atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed this party when Eastern and Western cultures converged.
All foreign teachers appreciated this party and the caring thoughts from Chinese staff and university. They hoped there would be more such activities to get together. In the new year, we hope that the communication between departments and foreign teachers will be strengthened and the teaching affairs of foreign teachers will progress smoothly.
