　　摘要：本文是根据作者第6次到访北京的若干日记与随感编译而成。主要表达了作者对北京急速发展变化的感想。对马路上越来越多的汽车、越建越高的大楼、越来越缺少东方文化色彩的北京城，作者提出了对美国生活方式的批评和对追求“美国式”生活的担忧。

Abstract:This paper is compiled according to author’s diary and essay written in the 6th time visiting Beijing It expressed his feeling of the rapid development and changes in Beijing The number of cars running on the road is increasing; the height of the buildings being built is rising, and the oriental cultural flavor of Beijing city is disappearing The author criticized the American lifestyle and expressed his concern on the notion of pursuing Americanstyle life
