INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS
Since its foundation, the University has endorsed an open attitude towards cooperation and international networking, which has been demonstrated through the establishment of these principles in the various strategic plans and in the programs and activities that have been implemented. Through the years the University has committed to alliances with universities from more than 20 countries in the United States, Europe, Asia and South America. The range of cooperation is broad: the more simple ones being an exchange of students, complex ones include the establishment of joint degree programs. Aside from creating the means for international cooperation, BCU also actively participates in international exhibitions and various conferences both on a regional and global level.

Actions and programs developed overseas have allowed for the reinforcement of an increasingly open culture towards internationalization, integration and academic cooperation. A comprehensive strategy has been developed over the past years with the vision to evolve the University into the most internationalized university in China. Since the founding of the University it has received over 100 overseas delegations and sent more than 1,000 faculty members and students to more than 30 countries and regions worldwide for further studies, educational visits, international exhibitions and conferences.

Proposed  collaborative agreements could  be in the areas of  student exchanges,  joint research, visiting professors (short stays of a few weeks; longer stays of a semester or more), joint publications, online collaboration, seminars, conferences, distance education as well as any area considered of interest by other universities and institutions.
