With the philosophy of running the University to serve urban development, BCU conducts extensive research in that specific area of growth. The University advances its academic goals through market-oriented programs and specialties which meet the demands of urban development. A competence-based curriculum for these programs and specialties has also been adopted. In addition, under the guidance of State Policy as well as taking local features into consideration, BCU works with employers and industry to ensure that degrees are relevant, cutting edge, and is constantly adapting and updating its programs and specialties to meet market demand. Currently a multi-discipline and multi-layer program framework centered on urban development has been set up. BCU is happy to witness a great number of graduates who have now become practice-oriented staff members or urgently-needed professionals in society.
